We have stayed at both the St. Regis (next door) and the Waldorf Astoria and our nod goes to the Waldorf Astoria. Even by high Asia service standards, the service is beyond compare, with instant responses to the smallest requests and a true dedication to guests. The location is just 5 mins walk from the two Skytrain lines (one left, one right) and you can cut through the Grand Hyatt to spend more time in AC if it is a hot day. The pool on top of the hotel is gorgeous. The staff at the Loft treated us like royalty, saving us the best table in the house and making us feel so special with constant attention. The food and beverage manager, Holm, clearly has done a good job with his team, as they are extremely well-trained and attentive, even expertly decanting an Italian red wine we ordered and offering perspectives on different wines on the list. The Loft, as well as the Brasserie where the legendary breakfast is served each day, are must-visits. May, who works in the Brasserie, made us feel like we were esteemed guests in her home, saving our favorite table each day and remembering even the smallest of preferences. Holm checked in with us personally to make sure everything was up to standards and we assured him that as high-end luxury travelers he and his team have surpassed those standards. We booked a deluxe king city view room and liked the layout much more than the St. Regis. It has a huge walk-in closet (Regis had an armoire) and the bathroom with a view window was fabulous, with an automated Toto toilet that raises its lid on approach. The room is well-sized, the air con is ice cold, automated drapes, lovely entry vestibule - really perfect. Housekeeping was efficient and thorough. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and can recommend this well-run property without reservation. We look forward to returning next month.

Waldorf Astoria. A name synonymous with luxury accommodation ... however we have mixed emotions about this particular WA. Certainly this hotel is very comfortable. That goes without saying, but this Waldorf Astoria misses the mark on too many very basic expectations for a thoroughbred property. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the check-in was seamless, the room was nice and the breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect, with a short walk to both Skyrails and major shopping areas. What we did notice though were basic failures. The television had limited channels and about half of those limited channels did not work. Although there were adequate coffee capsules in the room (six from memory), only two milk/creamer capsules were available. The dining options in the hotel, although ample, had rotating opening hours so for much of the day, the pool bar was the only option. The in-room service directory listed a Level 27 champagne bar ... only open on Friday and Saturday nights (too bad if you, like us, were not staying on a Friday or Saturday night). The Level 16 pool went out to the edge of the building with glass partitions separating guests with a 16 floor drop, one of which was badly cracked across the entire pane. Not even warning tape affixed to it. In all. This is a nice hotel, but is no better than Conrad Bangkok. Would we stay here again? No.

Amazing city hotel. Located steps away from centralwOrld and all the other Siam malls. Also steps away from a BTS station. The hotel is beautiful, classic modern design. Rooms are fantastic, equipped with everything you can ever need, lots of tech and super comfortable beds. Huge showers and high quality bath product. Rooftop pool is a great escape from the city heat, nice pool service and amazing views and sunsets. Breakfast is outstanding with a huge Buffett selection and many order to table. Above all, the service and people who work here are amazing. There is always someone looking to help, smile or just say hello. Well done WA Bangkok, this is a true gem in this bustling city. Small thing to note, there is a construction of a new building done on of the hotels side. They noise isn’t heard much at all within the hotel but could be noticed on the pool.

I've had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for the 6th time, and my recent visit from April 16-17 reaffirmed why this hotel is my top choice. The hotel's interior and decoration are simply stunning, creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere that I adore. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning solitude at the pool. With nobody else around, it felt like private oasis, I can relax and unwind in the serene environment. The staff at the spa went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering helpful suggestions regarding the male locker facilities. The restaurants—Peacock, Loft, and Bull and Bear—consistently exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service. Every staff member warmly welcomed me back, making me feel like a valued guest. A special shoutout to Khun Kwang at THE BRASSERIE for her outstanding care and attention during my morning visits. I look forward to returning for my 8th visit!"

First time staying at this property - was pleasantly surprised by the service and rooms. The standard room was a little small however after a room change to a slightly larger room it suited our needs. Breakfast is probably one of the best in Bangkok with exceptional service, great quality of offerings! Staff were overall pleased to assist however communication could be improved especially with the front office as were given conflicting information about our bookings by numerous staff. Additionally our request for an extra bed was ignored and had to be communicated again. Not ideal after a night flight!
